Contemporary is the name of the game. The photo above has a very subtle but sweet vibe, considering it is a portrait of doughnuts! But this isn't your average overly texturally exaggerated
Dunkin Donuts advertisement photo, its something more. Its art within art within art. The minimalist symmetry between each delectable-looking treat as well as the gourmet styles of choice (not like Krispy Kreme!). A warm red backing gives off a mom & pops-family-secret feeling, quite familiar. Nothing is over the top about the photo, but it sure makes the mouth water! I need a cup of milk.
ps The bacon doughnut looks gross. Its a vegetarian thing
